We are pleased that you are visiting our website and thank you for your interest. On the following pages, we inform you about the handling of your personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data with which you can be personally identified.

1. Hosting

We host the content of our website with the following provider: IONOS

The provider is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur (hereinafter referred to as IONOS). When you visit our website, IONOS collects various log files including your IP addresses. For details, please refer to the privacy policy of IONOS: https://www.ionos.de/terms-gtc/terms-privacy.

The use of IONOS is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO. We have a legitimate interest in the most reliable presentation of our website.

Insofar as a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing is carried out exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1  TTDSG, insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user's terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) as defined by the TTDSG. The consent can be revoked at any time.

2. Data processing for contacting, customer communication & order handling

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us when contacting us (e.g. via online-store, e-mail or telephone). Mandatory fields in forms are marked as such, because in these cases we need the data to process your contact and you can not send the contact without their information. Which data is collected can be seen from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide to process your inquiries in accordance with Art. 6 (1) p. 1 lit. b DSGVO.

As far as necessary for the processing of the contract for delivery and payment purposes, the personal data collected by us will be passed on to the commissioned transport company and the commissioned credit institution in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b DSGVO. If payment service providers are used, we explicitly inform about this below.

After complete processing of your customer inquiry, your data will be restricted for further processing and deleted after expiry of the retention periods under tax and commercial law pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. c DSGVO, unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. a DSGVO or we reserve the right to use data beyond this, which is permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.

3. Cookies and other technologies

3.1 Cookies

We use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small data packets and do not cause any damage to your end device. They are stored either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies) on your end device. Session cookies are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your terminal
until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

In some cases, cookies from third-party companies may also be stored on your terminal device when you enter our site (third-party cookies). These enable us or you to use certain services of the third-party company (e.g. cookies for processing payment services).

Cookies have various functions. Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain website functions would not work without them (e.g. the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.

Cookies that are necessary to carry out the electronic communication process, to provide certain functions requested by you (e.g. for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g. cookies to measure the web audience) (necessary cookies) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) lit. f DSGVO, unless another legal basis is specified. We have a legitimate interest in storing necessary cookies in order to provide our service in a technically error-free and optimized manner. If consent to the storage of cookies and comparable recognition technologies has been requested, the processing is based exclusively on this consent (Art. 6 para.1 lit. a DSGVO and § 25 para. 1 TTDSG); the consent can be revoked at any time.

You can set your browser so that you are informed about the setting of cookies and only allow cookies in individual cases, exclude the acceptance of cookies for certain cases or in general and activate the automatic deletion of cookies when closing the browser. If cookies are deactivated, the functionality of this website may be limited.

Insofar as cookies are used by third-party companies or for analysis purposes, we will inform you separately about this within the framework of this data protection declaration and, if necessary, request your consent.

3.2 SSL/TLS encryption

This site uses SSL or TLS encryption to ensure the security of data processing and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as orders, login data or contact enquiries that you send to us as the operator. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the fact that the address line of the browser contains a "https://" instead of a "http://" and by the lock symbol in your browser line. We use this technology to protect your transmitted data.

4. Transmission of data to third parties

We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below when you visit our website. We only pass on your personal data to third parties if:

  1. you have given us your express consent to do so in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO,
  2. in the event that there is a legal obligation for the transfer in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. c DSGVO,
  3. the disclosure is permissible for the protection of our legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (f) DSGVO and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest worthy of protection in the non-disclosure of your data, as well as
  4. this is legally permissible and necessary according to Art. 6 (1) lit. b DSGVO for the processing of contractual relationships with you.

Within the scope of the processing operations described in this privacy policy, personal data may be transferred to the USA. The USA does not have an adequate level of data protection (ECJ: Schrems II ruling). In particular, U.S. investigative authorities can oblige U.S. companies to hand over or disclose personal data without the data subjects being able to effectively take legal action against this. Thus, in principle, there is a possibility that your personal data will be processed by U.S. investigative authorities. We have no influence on these processing activities. To protect your data, we have concluded commissioned processing agreements based on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. If the standard contractual clauses are not sufficient to establish an adequate level of security, your consent can serve as a legal basis for the transfer to third countries in accordance with Art. 49 (1) a) DSGVO. This sometimes does not apply in the case of a data transfer to third countries for which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision pursuant to Art. 45 DSGVO.

5. Payment service provider

We offer you various payment options in the online shop. Depending on the payment method, we forward your payment information to various third parties involved, e.g. your credit card provider.

The terms and conditions and the data protection information of the respective payment service providers used by you apply to the payment transactions and can be accessed within the respective websites or transaction applications. We also refer to these for further information and assertion of revocation, information and other data subject rights. These providers and credit card companies process your data as their own data protection controllers independent of us.

The transfer of data / exchange with the payment service provider commissioned by you is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. p. 1 lit. b) DSGVO as well as the legitimate interest in customer-friendly, secure and uncomplicated payment processing based on Art. 6 para. p. 1 lit. f) DSGVO.

6. Contact options & your rights

6.1 Rights of data subject

As a data subject, you have the following rights:

  • pursuant to Art. 15 DSGVO, the right to request information about your personal data processed by us to the extent specified therein;
  • pursuant to Art. 16 DSGVO, the right to demand the correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data stored by us without undue delay;
  • pursuant with Art. 17 DSGVO, the right to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless further processing is necessary for the exercise of the right to freedom of expression and information; for compliance with a legal obligation; for reasons of public interest; or is necessary for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims;
  • pursuant with Art. 18 DSGVO, the right to request the restriction of the processing of your personal data, insofar as the accuracy of the data is disputed by you; the processing is unlawful, but you object to its erasure; we no longer need the data, but you require it for the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims; or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Art. 21 DSGVO;
  • pursuant to Art. 20 DSGVO, the right to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request that it be transferred to another controller.
  • pursuant to Art. 77 DSGVO, the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
    As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or of your workplace or of our company headquarters for this purpose.

Right to object

If, within the framework of a consideration of interests, we process your personal data on the basis of our predominant legitimate interest, you have the right at any time to object to this processing with effect for the future on the grounds that arise from your particular situation.
If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned. However, we reserve the right to further processing if we can prove compelling reasons worthy of protection for processing which outweigh your interests, fundamental rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.

If we process your personal data for direct marketing purposes, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of your personal data which are used for direct marketing purposes. You may exercise the objection as described above.

If you exercise your right to object, we will stop processing the data concerned for direct advertising purposes.

6.2 Contact options

If you have any questions regarding the collection, processing or use of your personal data, for information, correction, restriction or deletion of data, as well as revocation of consent given or objection to a particular use of data, please contact us directly using the contact details in our imprint.
